Building softness into a life of purpose

So it began...

My mission is
much deeper than
the current "soft life" movement

Beyond pink and pilates, I explore
how intentional ease through softness
aids in revealing deeper self-clarity, alignment, and purpose

once upon a time...

The act of intentionally slowing down and prioritizing self-care, beauty, and joy didn't hold much meaning in my life until it became almost a necessity.

It wasn't until the identity I had built until the age of 23—made up of beliefs, principles, and behaviors I had unconsciously carried—began to shift, that I experienced a deeper crisis of self.

It led to a mental, emotional, and spiritual unraveling and rebuilding, which eventually found its language through what is often called the "soft life" or slow living.

As I questioned my values, direction, and what genuinely brought me joy, I found myself increasingly drawn to beauty in everyday spaces—nature, architecture, and intentionally designed restaurant environments. It was in these places, where stillness is often required, that I began to experience clarity about what felt meaningful, sacred, and worth pursuing.

Over a two-year period, this process gradually reshaped my sense of self. I emerged with a deeper clarity and a more grounded identity, developed through rest, reflection, and lived experience.

From this deep internal transformation, two soft-life inspired businesses were birthed: Soft Girls of Boston and The Modern Soft Woman™. Both share a common mission of encouraging self-worth, peace, and beauty as pathways to self-becoming, with one primarily through community and hosted events, and the other by rewiring internal belief systems through on brand affirmations from the flagship product, The Modern Soft Woman™ Affirmation Deck.

As this work continues, I aim to be a thought leader and contributor to the broader soft life conversation beyond that of just an aesthetic or an obsession with pilates and matcha, but as a meaningful path towards self-awareness, alignment, and intentional living.
